hobnichi weeks 2025

i hate to say it, but it really didn't work for me this year. nothing changed about how i used it changed, i just had less on my plate to keep up with. i found myself writing more longform entries in my moleskine.

hobonichi avec july-december

because i found myself writing more and more in the moleskine, i decided to get a hobonichi avec in july. i used it primarily for daily recaps and memories, and it worked great for me! the avec uses the same daily format as the regular techo, and the a6 size gave me just enough space. like with the weeks, i decorated seldomly and mostly just wrote. i used the monthly calendars to write one good thing that had happened a day.

i used this pen almost exclusively this year! it doesn't bleed through hobonichi paper and writes so smoothly, with a perfect ink flow. i cannot stress enough how much i love this pen.

pentel slicci .28

for longer entries, i used the pentel slicci just because its finer point made my writing take up less space.
