journaling has been a passion of mine since i was a kid! but being a kid with undiagnosed adhd, i never actually finished one. i had tons of notebooks all with a few entries in them, and then i'd get bored or forget to write in them.
in my first year of college, though, i had to take an "intro to college" class, and one of my projects was on organization. when i started looking into that topic, i found out about bullet journaling. around that same time, i also started getting into japanese stationery - notebooks, washi tape, cute stickers, etc.
bullet journaling worked for me for a while, but i eventually found it to be too rigid to really be what i wanted out of journaling. i discovered the hobonichi techo through instagram and saw the amazing spreads people would make, and i jumped
on that immediately.
unfortunately, mostly because of mental illness, i would miss a day or a week of entries and feel terrible about those blank pages, so it didn't really work out for me.
since then, i've used tons of other notebooks, like the hobonichi day free and the midori md grid . it's taken a few years, but i feel like i've finally settled into a journaling routine that works for me! this page is to show off my notebooks and supplies, and to share resources as well!
enjoy!
