started working on a shrine for morphine (the band) and have been doing a lot of research to make sure i give it the care it deserves. ended up making myself indescribably sad over the turbulent, tragic, and ultimately far too short life of its frontman and the architect of their sound, mark sandman.

i finally got my modded ps2 to work! months ago, i tried to get burned discs to work, but neither my cheap disk drive nor my cheap disks were good enough. then it took me a while to get all the parts i needed (hdd hard drive, network adapter, drive enclosure bc i have a laptop, fmcb card.) then i got a broken enclosure and had to return that and wait for the replacement to get shipped to me. finally last night, i got the drive properly formatted (i had to watch two different tutorial videos) and installed into the ps2. it was late, so i decided i'd just see if it worked in the morning. i tested it out and i got the error that the disk couldn't be detected. i was about to give up, but then i decided to mess around in the settings for a little bit, AND IT WORKED!

i'm so happy. i'm going to download back up so many games.

i was going to write a long, articulate blog post about everything going on in the united states right now, but i just don't have it in me. i'm sure most of the people who read this already know, and Taking a Stand on a neocities blog isn't exactly doing anything helpful. but what the fuck. if he isn't stopped, he's not going to stop.
