i started writing haiku regularly around 2018. i started a project where i would write one a day for a whole year. i wasn't able to keep it up, but while i did it, it proved to be a surprisingly effective creative outlet. i was going through a difficult period in my life, and writing these little haiku was a way for me to quickly and succinctly get those feelings out.

while going through an old neocities page of mine, i found where i had posted a lot of them. i thought it might be fun to bring them over here, and to start writing them again.

please keep in mind that a lot of the archived haiku are deeply personal.

i'm not going to aim to post one a day, so they'll just be posted sporadically.
